SOMEBODY SOMEONE (they/them) is an Austin, TX–based artist creating emotionally immersive music at the intersection of alt-pop, jazz-informed vocal craft, and cinematic songwriting.

Their sound is defined by a deeply expressive vocal presence—fluid, precise, and emotionally unguarded—paired with spacious, atmospheric production that leaves room for silence, tension, and breath. Their debut single “Better” was called “riveting and spellbinding” by American Songwriter and marked the beginning of a steadily expanding national footprint. The track now receives regular rotation on Austin’s KUTX 98.9 and Los Angeles’ The SoCal Sound 88.5, extending its reach across key independent radio markets.

Their most recent entry to the NPR Tiny Desk Contest “Who’s Left” was selected by the Tiny Desk Top Shelf team for the third time, underscoring an ongoing relationship with the Tiny Desk ecosystem built through sustained submissions and repeated recognition over time.

On stage, they’ve been an official artist for SXSW (2025 and 2026), performed at Adam Duritz of Counting Crow’s Underwater Sunshine Festival (2025), Hotel Cafe (2025), and the esteemed Joe’s Pub (2025) alongside previous opening slots for Jade Bird and Sixpence None the Richer. In 2025 SOMEBODY SOMEONE was selected for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest On The Road Tour in Austin, performing at a sold-out show presented by KUTX—an early anchor point within both the local Austin scene and NPR’s broader national platform ecosystem.

Their music has also been featured on The Telepathy Tapes, a podcast exploring neurodivergent perception and communication, which they describe as affirming reflecting lived experience finding articulation in unexpected public spaces.
